Overview

Now that you’re in Panopto, we will go over the process of creating videos in Panopto.

The second is to provision Panopto within a Blackboard course, as described in this post on Getting Started with Panopto. In either case, when you are finished, you should see a big blue Create button that, when selected, should you a multitude of options.

New Folder

This will allow you to create a sub folder within any of your Panopto folders, whether they are provisioned Blackboard folder, or your personal folder. Videos can be uploaded or moved into these folder for the purpose of organization, or for the purpose of restricting or enabling their access to a different subset of users. This subfolder can inherit the permissions of the top level parent folder, or start completely private. Whatever you select, once it has been created, you can access this sub folder and modify the folder permissions completely independently of the top level folder, allowing you to grant access to unique groups of viewers.
